Terms & Conditions
Torxtuning terms & Conditions - once the process starts you automactically except our terms&conditions
Our Guarantee and T&Cs as of 2017
All our products and services are strictly sold for off-road use only. We are dedicated to bringing you a quality service which you are fully satisfied with. However, please make sure that you read and understand the following points. If you are not happy with any of these, please make sure that you make us aware before we start the process. However once we start the process you have accepted and agree with the below terms and conditions. All power, torque and mpg figures quoted are estimates. The figures we provide are the figures gained from the same vehicle as yours on a dyno after applying our software. If you dyno your vehicle after our remap without having a dyno before, then you must understand that, without an original figure, the final power output cannot be questioned. It is down to you the customer or owner of the vehicle to assess and make the decision that the vehicle is able to handle extra power as only you would know how the vehicle has been maintained and serviced. In the extremely unlikely event of any mechanical or electrical failures after a remap is carried out we will not be linked to and is not the responsibility of TorxTuning. Remapping can sometimes emphasise an issue that is already present in a vehicles engine. For example, whilst a vehicle may not have any known problems showing on a diagnostic check or the dashboard, it may, say, have a turbo approaching the end of its life. This will not be evident to TorxTuning what so ever. Applying a remap may cause the turbo to fail sooner than it would have done anyway. There will be no refunds for any such problems after a remap. In the extremely unlikely event of an ECU failure during the remap process, TorxTuning cannot be held responsible, as this could easily be due to a problem over which we have no control. For example, an existing fault within the ECU bought to the forefront by the process or, for example, an unexpected power fault.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much power will I gain from a Stage 1 remap?+
Typical Stage 1 gains range from 20–40% BHP and torque depending on your engine and factory tune. We'll confirm exact expected gains for your vehicle before booking.
Is a remap safe for my engine?+
Yes — when written by qualified tuners using tested files. We only calibrate within safe factory hardware limits and verify with live logs before handover.
Will a remap void my manufacturer warranty?+
Any ECU modification can affect warranty coverage. If your vehicle is still under manufacturer warranty we recommend discussing it with your dealer first.
Is the remap reversible?+
Yes. We back up your original ECU file before any changes so the vehicle can be returned to stock at any time.
How long does a remap take?+
Most OBD Stage 1 remaps take 45–90 minutes. Bench and boot-mode flashes take longer — we'll confirm the exact duration when you book.
Will fuel economy improve?+
Diesel remaps typically improve MPG when driven normally. Petrol tunes are performance-focused, so economy depends on driving style.
