VW Golf GTI Stage 1 Remap

A stage 1 file turns the GTI from quick into genuinely fast. The EA888 turbo has headroom left from the factory, and the gains arrive right where you use the car — third and fourth gear, part throttle to full.

What we do to your Golf GTI

2.0 TSI EA888 petrol

Custom calibration of boost, ignition, fuelling and torque limiters, with all protection strategies left in place.

DSG owners get the shift maps checked so the box doesn't torque-limit the new file.

We log the car before and after so you can see what actually changed rather than take our word for it (logging availability depends on the vehicle).

Pops and bangs / overrun crackle available

DSG / S-Tronic gearbox tuning available alongside

Launch control and speed limiter options

Lifetime warranty on our software, original file always stored, and no mechanical modifications required. Terms apply.

Golf GTI Remap FAQs

Which GTI generations do you cover?

MK6 through MK8, including Clubsport and Performance Pack cars. The ECU determines whether it's an OBD or bench job.

Do I need a downpipe?

No. Stage 1 is designed for a completely standard car. Stage 2 files are available if you've already fitted hardware.

Will the DSG cope?

Yes at stage 1. A DSG tune alongside is recommended if you want faster shifts and a raised torque limit.
